Parking Lot Cracks and Oil Spots
This is street photography. On this street, the four paint drips and the leaf created a design that caught my eye.
This photo, taken from a roof patio, highlights the vertical and horizontal stripes. They are the star of this image, protected by the intervening red flagged rope.
Among the permanent marks on the pavement, occasionally temporary ones find their way into the design.
I’m returning to displaying some of my photography. This next series is a continuation of my literal ‘street photography’, that I am perfecting through my visits to a myriad of local parking lots.
This was the scene before me when I sat down at break the other day. It doesn’t strike me as a particularly rich visual design. The element that binds the composition together is the different technology each subject is relying upon.
