I don’t think this person was too relaxed. Whenever I sit in a chair without removing my pack I am very uncomfortable. However, my subject was seated long enough for me to shade this sketch by rubbing it with my finger.

By the time I got outside to snap a photo of this cloud, it changed from its original representation of a nerve synapse. The gap between the two aerial nerves collapsed to yield the elongated shape with corrugations in its midsection. It became an amorphous space ship looking for a place to land.
Can anyone just change a sign, like someone did to the sign pictured below? More precisely: can anyone change a public sign and expect it to be obeyed? The relaxed position of the patient indicates that this visit was only a consultation. I would not be present if there were any chance of high-speed drill action.

I drew these faces as part of a series of sketches of this woman who was sitting across the way from me. She was studying.
I could tell that this person was really sweet as she settled down at her table. I almost had enough time to sketch a second pose, but my 15 minutes were up before I got too far. The erasures photographed as grey areas, giving a smudgy look to the piece.
