Vintage Photo: Buy a Pencil, NYC 1988

I took this photo not too long after I moved to New York.  I aspired to emulate the work of my favorite photographers: Robert Frank, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Minor White and others.  What I like most about this photo is that no faces can be seen other than the blind man’s.
