My sister-in-law passed away yesterday. She was a wonderful woman and will be sorely missed. This portrait does not resemble her. Tomorrow’s will be better.

The inked pencil sketch looked better than the final watercolored version. I may have given myself an overly broad shoulder on one side. Also, I do have to practice rendering shadows in watercolor.
