Perfectly Content
It is well into summer and there are crispy, crunchy leaves on the ground. This is either a testament to the inefficient street cleaners or thirsty trees that cannot hold onto their leaves.
I like that the hurriedly, blind-drawn* lines accurately represent the act of a man intently staring at a section of the newspaper. *drawn without looking at the paper
When book orders come in, we put them on the shelf and wait for the customer to come in. I hope these two don’t arrive at the same time.
