This woman is in a state of mind different than yesterday’s subject. Today’s lady is looking inward, absorbed in her thoughts or meditating. The woman from my previous sketch seems to be focused on the middle distance, wondering about affairs outside herself, even though we don’t see her eyes.

This woman seemed to be in between. She wasn’t reading or dozing. I’m pretty sure she was thinking about what to do next.
No judgement here. I just happened to draw the wide-stripe lady at a higher level than her partner. It does look like the thin-stripe lady is off balance (since I forgot to draw her chair), but that was also unintentional. Is my subconscious at work here?
Ordinary things can be beautiful.
Practice makes perfect. This must be one of the early work sessions. I should get this budding stencil artist in touch with the master.
