Textures In Situ

My two recent posts (Siding, Up Close and Surface of the House) were close up shots of wooden siding lit by oblique rays of the sun. Below is a photo from a greater distance.

Brain Background

I used rough paper for this composition. So far it is just a background. I’ve got some thinking to do before I propose an appropriate foreground befitting such a textured surface.

Corner of a Parking Lot

One usually thinks of a parking lot as a great expanse of pavement. Below is a photograph of one of the corners. Perhaps it is THE corner of origin of this lot.

Rope Trick – Distal End

This composition is a transverse view of the cloud into which the Indian Rope Trickster ascends. The region above the clouds appears to be a crucible. It is not clear if said tricksters are aware of what awaits. Perhaps it is a hot meal.
