This is either a woman watching someone take off a mask or watching her friend holding a frowning child or simply, a blind drawing gone (semi)horribly wrong.
This line up was a perfect opportunity to practice my (mostly) blind figure drawing. I did look at the paper to reposition the pen and to insert detail in some of the portraits.
In my sketches, sometimes I express one figure more than another. This happened in the drawing below. My hand miscalculated the size of the larger lady’s right arm. Only a small portion of this composition bears a resemblance to a fox (to me). It is a conglomeration of figures inside an amorphous cloud. What figures can you see in this composition?
