In my sketches, sometimes I express one figure more than another. This happened in the drawing below. My hand miscalculated the size of the larger lady’s right arm. Including the book she was reading offers her figure a focus; leaving out her eye turns down that offer. The other woman was a bit smaller and stiffer and seems to be drawn in a different style.
