Discombobulated Drawing
On second look, this drawing doesn’t look any more discombobulated than my other blind drawings. I must have been the discombobulated one.

I like the posture of the man on the left. He was groomed very well. His hair was thin, pure white and combed back, giving the appearance of a wispy skeleton of a coiffure. I barely finished the bottom half of the man on the right when he was called in to give a blood […]
I like the groundedness of this photograph. The yellow and green belongs near the bottom and the darkest tone (the parking lot macadam) seems to tamp down the remaining visual elements, including the letter Y.
My original thought when I saw this cloud/tree combination was “Tree’s Bright Idea”, to compliment a previous post Palm Tree’s Sudden Idea. But somehow that caption did not quite fit. “Treesplanation Mark” also did’t work either. “Accented Tree” seemed like the perfect title.
My moleskin notebook unfurled was not big enough to capture a sketch of the Woman Waiting to Get a Cast and the man waiting with her. (I did capture a knee of the man in yesterday’s portrayal.) He was a character too.
As a denizen of the waiting room I am privileged to witness my fellow waiters in all manner of conditions. Some are more picturesque than others. The lady below is an example of such a subject. She wasn’t in any distress; just waiting with her husband.
