Hint of Blue

Today’s sketch is more of a doodle. I used several different sized nylon-tipped pens, mostly black. After I was done I used a blue pen to fill in some of the small gaps between pen strokes.

Drawing and the Fabric of Space

The fulcrum of this study is the hand holding the sketch pad. The other hand, in the drawing space, is invisible. It drew the sketch that the pictured hand is holding. Surrounding the imaginary imaginary space is imaginary real space, comprised of various cross hatchings.

At the Pharmacy Window

The goal of waiting in line is to get an audience with the pharmacy tech to get needed pills. This pencil sketch, augmented by pen and ink depicts the goal of the people in yesterday’s drawing.

The Line

I haven’t done much sketching while standing, but it does pass the time while in line. I have to be extra careful not to attract attention to my activity, especially to the person behind me.
