Portrait from Memory

William, my grandson, is in bed. We had a nice time today, but he is so active I wasn’t able to do a sketch with him in front of me. I memorized his features and tried to replicate them in the portrait below.

Just a Bit Twisted

This is the manhole cover directly adjacent to the crescent picture from yesterday’s post. It is only slightly twisted from its original position.

Approximation and Reality

The photo below is an expanded view of one posted the other day. The rounded, colorful protrusion from the bottom right of the frame is approximated by the white rectangular outline that enters from the left of the picture, a crude model of the three-dimensional object.

Parking lot art, again. The white line and the square of the access panel are not parallel with each other. Which one defines the true geometry of the parking lot?
