Mike had certain ways of positioning his hands. I don’t think they meant anything. His hands were very delicate.
Alas, I ran out of book store photographs to share. However, my notes for this picture tell me that I was on the way to the Corner Bookstore when I took it.
Mike* needed a lot of help with activities of daily living (ADL). When we visited him, Dad would try helping. *Mike is my older brother who is autistic, low functioning and nonverbal.
This book store was in existence for about 5 minutes. I was inside a couple of times; very nice.
