Y Between Yellow and Green
I like the groundedness of this photograph. The yellow and green belongs near the bottom and the darkest tone (the parking lot macadam) seems to tamp down the remaining visual elements, including the letter Y.

The same bank of clouds as yesterday, but darker in tone and softer.
Eventually I would like to get back to watercolors and produce a cloudscape like the one below.
These clouds are scattered deeply and widely. The feathery ones at the left seem to be very high up, while the puffy ones appear to be closer to the ground.
I translated this sky-scape into the realm of musical notation. I wonder what a puffy whole note would sound like.
I captured the top and bottom of a cloud bank. I love the intermediate tones of gray within the mass of clouds.
Today the sky was totally blue. Not a cloud in sight. The picture below is from several days ago. I have fond memories of clouds, which, if predictions are correct, should be abundant next week.
