There was daylight today during my break. The sun had not even set. It cast strong tall shadows. I planted myself under a tree and took the picture shown below.

Self Portrait on Light Post
There were long shadows this afternoon. I took the opportunity to set up a self portrait on one of the posts in the parking lot.
Hoop and Long Shadows
The photo below lends itself perfectly to a pen and ink rendition. There are an assortment of grays, and textures abound. Long shadows overlay this terrain. My pen and ink sketch is below:
