Standpipe Shadow

I am ever on the look out for fire equipment sculptures. See Yellow Hydrant Sculpture, Red Standpipe, Colorful Fireplugs ,Fireplugs, the Beginning, Crosby Dog Graffiti, Open Hydrant, Camouflaged Fire Hydrant for previous sightings. I saw this one on my morning walk.

Red Standpipe

Most of the standpipes that I photograph look the same. I came upon a different one today. (See Standpipe Portrait, Colorful Fireplugs, Yellow Hydrant Sculpture, Fire Plugs.) I guess I like it because it’s nice and shiny.

Plug and Pipe

I’m always on the lookout for fire suppression equipment. Today was a bonanza. I found a fireplug AND a standpipe right next to each other. The fire department doesn’t have to go far to hook up.
