Sketch Book Series: Scribble Face (September 2011)

I’m not sure why this sketch is scribbled. I must have had a lot of energy. Maybe I was trying to destroy the image. I do like the shadow the pencil strokes created on the left side of the face.

Sketch Book Series: Hand Wash (July 2010)

I used a .35mm point ink pen for this sketch. The paper was a bit textured which accounts for uneven-ness. It was hard to control the width of the lines in this exercise. I like the dash of orange of the traffic cone.

Sketch Book Series: The Claw Characters (June 2011)

I sketched these faces while watching ‘The Giant Claw’, a science fiction movie from the 1950s. This was an exercise in sketching quickly. If you ever see this movie, don’t hold your breath for the long awaited look at the Giant Claw.
