Pen and Ink Series #2: Maze #2, LA, 2025

The maze in this sketch is incidental to the collection of shapes. There may not be enough clearance for the small dark circular shape on the lower left to navigate around these ‘objects’, but more is going on here than the arc of its travel.

Watercolor Sketch: Left-Handed Downtown Bar NYC (1991)

This is the second iteration of my left-handed attempt (literally) to complete one of my 8 Church Street Bar sketches. As shown, it is a bit unbalanced, seeming to be a bit more abstract on the right side than on the left. Must work on left hand guidance.

It’s been more than 10 years since I moved away from New York City. I used to take the subway all the time, but I can’t, for the life of me remember the subway line which allowed sunlight into its 79th Street Station.
