The maze in this sketch is incidental to the collection of shapes. There may not be enough clearance for the small dark circular shape on the lower left to navigate around these ‘objects’, but more is going on here than the arc of its travel.

I first envisioned the warped surface. Since the planar surface brought me into the realm of three dimensions, I also brought my 2-dimensional star figure along. “White noise” comprises the bottom part of this figure, presumably from which the 3-D figures arose.
