Most of my free form designs are unpremeditated. That is I try not to have an idea of the outcome. Sometimes I do have goal from the beginning, sometimes I get an idea based on what I have already drawn. Today’s experiment was based on yesterday’s abstract.
I liked the human form in that piece. I wanted to replicate it somehow in today’s composition. But with all the confusing curlicues in the drawing, I had to really search for something human. I did find a couple, one behind the other.
I used heavy markers to outline the forms in this unfinished work, to assure recognition from the viewer. However, it would probably be more fun for the audience to discover them independently.
