I took many photographs of graffiti when I lived in New York City in the 1990s (see Listing of Previous Graffiti Sketches, NYC Graffiti Watercolors – For Sale). On one of my walks, I came across two extraordinary images. One was a cat that looked like it was wearing an overcoat, the other was a graffiti scrawl that resembled the shape of a dog.
I took two photographs. One shows the cat looking at the graffiti; the other shows the cat looking at me. When the cat looked me in the eye, I inadvertently shifted the frame, and cut off part of the graffiti.
The photograph below is a combination of the two photographs, in which I was able to fully frame the graffiti, while keeping the image of the cat during the instant it became interested in me.

I love this
Thank you! I appreciate that.
