It seems to me that in history, progress is steady up to a point, things totter or get stale or whatever, then a cataclysm of some thing finishes off the old, and the new sprouts up. Then it repeats. I am wondering if this is happening now. The old egg breaks but gives itself to the new and better one? I am hoping so. And that we who are swept up in it can weather it. Your image gave me another session of thinking on this topic that I have been mulling over.
