Fornot-Me-Gets

There are three things that go wrong when you get old: your memory; your eyesight and I forgot the other one.

I always forget something when I go on a trip. Once, I was so proud that I remembered the power cord for my computer only to realize that I forgot the computer itself. On the last trip, I remembered to take my computer and the power connector only to forget to take the power cord back home with me.

I was so sure that I brought my paint brushes this time. I remember wrapping them up and rubber-banding them together, but I must not have not put them in the car.

Its a good thing that I started the painting below before I left home. I was hoping to finish painting the areas that I painted with latex rubber.  With no paint brushes at my disposal, I finished the composition with pen.

I should have called my design, “Paintus Interruptus”, but I think “Bouquets Fornot-Me-Gets” is better.
