My sketch below was transcribed from a pencil sketch. I mention this by way of explanation of the hesitation mark (or gap) one can see in the ink tracing. I suppose I don’t trust myself with indelible ink and no guide. The principle I try to emulate (at least in my pencil line drawings) was formulated by the great Paul Klee, when he advised his pupils to ‘take a pencil point for a walk’.
I like the simplicity of the contour in my sketch below. I haven’t decided if this is someone thinking about yoga, in the midst of performing a simple pose, or a very complex pose involving an arm and a leg.
You decide.
