I’ve been playing with lines again. I kept the paper relatively unpopulated with marks and varied the thickness of the lines I put down.  In the back of my mind, I must have been thinking of my ongoing recording project (converting my long playing records into computer format), as some of that iconology seeped into my composition.

I kept the density of lines sparse and paired that with pastel-like hues to give a less saturated composition than I have been painting lately. There is something to be said for stopping the painting process early, perhaps even prematurely.
