I immediately saw a brain in the Abstract one; I was surprised to learn that it wasn’t necessarily envisioned that way.
I had been doing a lot of brain-like abstracts at that time (with the brain in mind, actually). I guess the same morphology bled through.

These are great, the abstract one kind of looks like an exotic bird perched on a branch to me, really cool!
