Back Office: Waning Days of Existence

Only a few more weeks before we shut the doors. I’ve never outlasted a firm at which I’ve worked. Strange feeling. I’m sure this is much more common these days than it was in my time.

  1. Yes, the lack of a feeling of permanence is accelerating in my worldview too, I empathize with you. It’s disorienting. Your drawing by contrast is rooted and solid. Interesting contrast.

    • Lack of permanence, indeed lack of continuity, lack of logical progression (from the viewpoint of the rank and file) is a hallmark of today’s world.

Thank you for your observation. As I think about it, if a sense of place is depicted in a drawing, it exudes permanence, by definition.
