Apparently, the people who have a penchant for order (i.e., centering things, arranging dollar bills to face the same way or, putting them in sequence of serial number (or Federal Reserve Bank from which they originated)), were not on duty when this sewer cap was installed.

When I took the photo, I squared up the painted area surrounding the sewer cover. However, the fact that the word ‘sewer’ was askew with respect to the white-painted square, really bothered me. So I rotated the picture until ‘sewer’ was parallel to the horizontal axis.  I manipulated this image to make it more pleasing to the viewer.
