I love books. During my time in New York City, I frequented many of them, amassing quite a library. I also loved the way they looked. I continue my photography showcase a couple of bookstore photographs from NYC.

Interesting.May I know your favourite books/authors ?
I’m reading Rex Stout at the moment (Nero Wolf). I love mysteries, Ellery Queen MM; science fiction, P.K. Dick, Asimov, Gibson; lately I am reading about art, The Accidental Masterpiece by M. Kimmelman, Kandinsky, Klee, Miró; philosophy, Plato on the Googleplex, Betraying Spinoza both by Rebecca Goldstein; science books about the brain, consciousness, neuroanatomy. An eclectic taste.
btw, my granddaughter’s name is Sidra. Is that your name?
Thank you for your comment and interest!

I love the Central Park kiosk. We don’t have book kiosks like that in London. They always remind me of Paris’ left bank. I don’t suppose you have photos of Paris in your archive do you, Jack?
Alas, no pix of Paris worth anything. I was in a bus traveling through with a bunch of fellow musicians in 1980. My only photo of the Eiffel Tower is a big blur.
Thanks for commenting on the photo. It was a golden opportunity.
