When I go to bed each night I pay attention to the images that form in front of my closed eyes. Across the dark background there are strands of light, and dark patches that sometimes coalesce into recognizable faces or other images. Last night I saw the letter, omega, and a small cross-hatched grid. I woke up and drew them on a sketch pad so I wouldn’t forget them. The sketch below incorporates these images in a free-form design.
