Why would a black and white line drawing named ‘Bruise’? When one thinks of a bruise, one could imagine a riot of colors from all over the spectrum (mainly black and blue – some red and orange perhaps). The patterns of a massive bruise I have on my leg from a fall last week gave rise to the lines in this sketch. (I’m ok.)
Strictly speaking, this is a figurative sketch (not quite a tracing), but it is the result of inspiration from an organic source.
