I began this sketch with a curved line and added others that, like the first, ended in the beginnings of a spiral. Lately, I’ve been playing with my star icon, making its lines disappear and re-appear when it intersects with another line in its path. It adds a sense of three dimesionality to the 2D design. The line bending between the two upper arcs became a bird. This was not planned. I don’t remember my original thought for this line, but it seems to have worked out.
