Whimsy

As I mentioned yesterday, I write my posts the day before and schedule them for the following day.  It is Halloween as I write this.

We are in Burbank visiting the grandkids. William still remembers me. There is a spark of recognition as I sing, What Do You Do with a Drunken Sailor, the sea chanty I’ve been singing to him practically since he was born. He likes all the noises that I make (and I do a lot of them, from the water drip to the cheek pop). I keep him amused.

Sidra is as adorable as ever. She explained the back story to the Monster Hi doll collection. This is Sidra as one of the Monster Hi dolls.

This is Will’s first Halloween in California and probably the first where he had an inkling of what was going on. Here he is in his Scooby Doo costume with his big sister.

Will must have had some idea about what was going on. After the Trick or Treat outing, he took his basket of goodies, climbed back into the stroller by himself, and started going through his loot.

Today’s watercolor experiment:

I was inspired by Halloween and Sidra’s outfit for today’s watercolor.

I hope you all had a happy and safe Halloween.
