Below is an article I wrote for the Autism Society of America’s Advocate publication in 1997 about my older brother Michael, who is autistic, nonverbal and low functioning. I have mentioned much of this in previous posts. I thought that a copy of this article could illuminate my narrative from a slightly perspective.
