For some reason, this room sparked a memory, though I don’t know why – maybe it is the striped piece which I saw as a sofa at first glance, with a mirror above it. When I was about 8 my mother decided to drive us kids downtown in a snowstorm to get our photos made with Santa. I do not know why she did this. Snow in Tennessee and a big old car and well… Anyway, halfway there we slid into a ditch. After some attempts to get out Mom gave up and we went up to a house and they let us wait there while my dad came to pick us up. I remember the living room of the house looking like your picture, I spent a lot of time examining it visually while my mother made awkward chat with the owners. Funny what comes to mind!
