Artist-Inspired Watercolors: The Homestead [After Miro’s Farm] (2016)

This sketch/painting was adapted from an old photo of my family’s home (taken in 1956). It contains some inside visual jokes, but it is nothing like Miro’s ‘The Farm’, but was inspired by it.

  1. Hello Jack!

I imagine that Miro liked inside jokes as well to put into his work and for the viewers to think about after the immediate visual experience of the painting.

And also I see your first Artist-Inspired Watercolour was based on Kandinsky.
