I captured the image of this monument to the braceros, as I was driving home It is tucked away in the middle of a busy city street on the northern end of downtown Los Angeles. The Bracero Program brought Mexicans to the US as guest workers. Top officials from the US and Mexico are reviewing features of this program to use in future immigration projects.*
