i know what you mean. For a while I was obsessed with vintage shaving razors. I had one that had a knob on it that, after winding, would vibrate the razor assembly. I had a few gadgets that would sharpen razor blades. One of my favorites was a steel case that would open on one side, revealing a razor connected to a handle. Pulling the handle would pass it along a leather strop attached to the other side. I love that kind of stuff.
Exactly 🙂 Decades ago, I bought some useful little antique tools in China that I still use with great joy today. For example, a paper folding tool carved from a cow bone. Through decades of use and the associated sweat, the bone has acquired a wonderful soul……
