Pen and Ink Series #65: Trouble with the Bow, LA, 2025
Hi! No, not even a little. But I was a music education major for 3 years in the 1970’s & 1st semester included a required course in teaching the basics of violin playing to elementary school kids. I was a piano/voice major, so it was fascinating & a big challenge. 2nd semester was drum…and so on. Everyone had to learn JUST ENOUGH of everything to give little kids a start. Great concept! But we made some horrifying noises in the practice rooms…😂
Love the energy in this, and how the “grip” varies. Using a bow properly is difficult! But your muscle memory will help. 🎻👏👏👏
Thank you, Robin. Do you play?
