This is a little raggedy (the drawing, not the cat). It was exceedingly difficult (for me) to capture the subtle shadings within the black fur. Also, it seemed like I drew the very fine white whiskers with a bar of soap. The cold-pressed paper’s texture was no help. Were I to repeat this drawing, it would be on Bristol (smooth) paper. I might consider using acrylic white with a one-hair brush to paint the whiskers.
