I overlapped my pen and ink renderings of Ricinus leaves and Yellow Bell flowers in this design just as I did in yesterday’s post. It is easier to distinguish between the leaves and the flowers in this drawing. The center vein of the leaves divided the sun from the shadow, so I used green and its compliment, red to get maximum contrast. Likewise, I used purple for the background to contrast with the yellow of the flowers of the central image.
