This is a closer look at the area adjacent to the Texaco gas station. The mural is still visible around the corner. It looks like the gas guzzling car has pulled up the the garage door awaiting entry.

I immediately thought of my dad’s big green Oldsmobile and how that thing lumbered along.
Yeah, those old cars did lumber. I once had an old Lincoln: 6000 pounds of lumbering.
I was a lifeguard in the summers through college and one of my coworkers was a girl a year or two younger than me, five feet tall and Maybe 90 pounds. Occasionally she would drive her mom’s Lincoln to work and it was hilarious watching her maneuver that thing through the parking lot and get it into a space when she literally couldn’t see over the steering wheel.
Yikes! Telephone books can be slippery to sit on!
