I began this sketch with my water soluble pens, but wasn’t satisfied with the results. I used metallic watercolors to paint flat areas defined by the outlines of the smoke shop and surroundings. If I were to continue with this, I would divide the composition into its constituent areas and paint each panel a solid color.
