The first house we lived in (until I was 5) looked just like that.
I rhink children just like to copy and imitate. What they latch on to is often a mystery. (K)
It seems like the whole world (suburbia) looked like the picture in this post, back then. All the trees were twigs, and sparsely spaced, any ad children were posed for photos destined for the family album.

Yes we all have those black and white sparse photos. I suppose our children will dispose of them eventually…
Does the Library of Congress accept family photos?
If they don’t, someone should create an archive.
That’s a good idea. I believe that the Library of Congress maintain a collection of journals from people.
