Usually I use the blind contour technique (only looking at the subject – not the paper) to draw portraits when the subject is anonymous. Unnoticed, and not concerned about creating a faithful likeness, I am somewhat relaxed as I draw. This is not the case here in quarantine, where there is minimal personal space between artist and subject and everyone is a critic.
