Not at all, it’s not a caricature of a person, it’s a portrait. I think you captured what this person looks like and maybe a little of who she is in her posture and so on. I almost always compare people to some object (I’m very poor at recognizing faces so I guess I’ve fallen into this method for remembering them). We have a Pagoda in Reading PA which I admire and I thought of it when I looked at this picture – it’s not just her outfit but her whole self that struck me. I like what you did here a lot: she’s a total personality to me.
