Today’s sketch is a portrait. The gentleman reminded me of some of the characters from cartoons in Mad Magazine from the 196os.

I realized, in this sketch, that I captured some of the features quite well. In other sketches where I’ve done the same, I’ve ruined them by failing to capture others. There is a lot to be said for the maxim, “less is more.”
