Double Arrow

Although one might think photographing parking lot terrain is monotonous, there is always something new to see.  The thin, man-made arrows (as opposed to the machine-applied parking space lines) might be a code that indicates an alteration to existing parking lot ‘lineage’ [rhymes with ‘signage’]. Perhaps the change was a transition from angled parking to straight-on parking and the addition of a handicapped space.

There is a bit of mystery in this photograph, as one end of the double arrow is obscured by the shadow. What else lurks there?

  1. You can be sure this will never get old for me. I am always very intrigued by the scrawled additions by workmen or other sources that appear on the sidewalk or in the road. Secret codes.
