I don’t remember exactly what my thoughts were when I started this composition. Tears were a part of it. I’m sure of that, but I don’t know why exactly. After the initial design, I concentrated on balancing the colors with their complement, without imbuing any further meaning to the work.
I am very interested in this picture, since I recently did a similar thing with some small paintings I was doing (and frustrated with and tired of them). What a nice way to go about an image, I found, a good mix of serendipity and logic. I see that in your image here. I like it.

I’ve wondered if logic is just serendipity taking another path. Brains have their own ways of getting their ideas heard, it seems to me.
I don’t know if it is logic, but there is something in the human brains that binds disparate events together in a pleasing (serendipitous) way.
