I am attracted to street photography (photography of streets and parking lots) in part, because they usually display quite a variety of textures.  It is a relatively simple matter to snap a photo of the street, and rather more taxing to reproduce the texture with one’s own hands.  Being a person who likes creating by hand, I had to try.
